Mistral AI is a European AI company that publishes some models as open weights and also runs a hosted assistant and an API. Its consumer assistant was originally called Le Chat and is now branded Vibe. If you want an assistant with a European base, or you want the option to download models and run them yourself, Mistral is worth a look.
