Getting Started with Perplexity
Learn how Perplexity answers questions with cited sources, how to ask for better results, and how to check that the citations really support the claims.
Perplexity is an answer engine: you ask a question in plain language, it searches the web, and it writes a short answer with numbered links to the sources it used. That makes it feel closer to a research assistant than a chatbot. It is excellent for getting oriented fast, as long as you remember that a citation is a pointer to read, not proof the claim is correct.
